This easy and refreshing lemonade is completely sugar free and makes the perfect summer drink!
Jump to Recipe
I developed this recipe two years ago for an Instagram reel but I decided it was too good to sit in oblivion! This drink is so refreshing and it’s easy to make.
The lemon flavor really pops and there is a fun twist with the addition of fresh thyme. You may think that is a strange herb to add to lemonade and I’m really not sure what inspired me to try it, but it definitely works! The flavor is subtle and not overpowering.
I’m pretty sure you could leave out the thyme but I will never make it any other way!
Lemons are a great addition to summer drinks because they provide a source of electrolytes in hot weather when we are losing them through sweating.
As a fellow shopper in Costco told me and my friend when we were checking out electrolyte mixes, there are as many electrolytes in the juice of a lemon as in a bottle of Gatorade!
Not to mention they are also full of Vitamin C.
